Products & explorations

Ideas made tangible through interaction.

EZQPool is our first product in development. Alongside it, we are exploring how simulation, spatial interaction and feedback can make other complex systems easier to understand.

Pool shot aiming concept Illustrative table: a cue ball aims through the object ball toward a chalk marker placed on the right rail, while a separate line shows the object ball travelling to the top-right pocket. The lines are conceptual, not a calculated shot. CUE BALL OBJECT BALL POCKET CHALK ON RAIL CUE AIM REFERENCE →OBJECT PATH → CONCEPT ILLUSTRATION · NOT APP UI

EZQPool

Pool aiming companion In development

An aiming companion for people learning to play pool on a real table. EZQPool explores a simple idea: use a table photo to turn shot geometry into a physical reference a player can place on the rail, then put the phone away and play.

Mandigi Labs / R&D directions

Working ideas for the next interaction.

These directions build on working simulations and hands-on interactive product engineering. Mandigi Labs is exploring how those tested patterns could become new experiences with the right domain partners. The concepts below are not released Mandigi products or client commissions.

01 / CONNECTED FEEDBACK

Movement feedback systems

Turn movement signals into feedback a person can understand while they practise.

Interaction

Wearable motion data can drive a live view of joint movement. Configurable exercise rules connect each movement to immediate visual feedback and a next action.

Working foundation

A wearable-to-Unity feedback pipeline and configurable exercise system have been implemented in prior work.

Research question

How can feedback stay immediate and useful without overwhelming the person moving?

02 / SPATIAL INTERACTION

Responsive spatial companions

Explore characters that respond to people and the space around them.

Interaction

Movement, gaze and position can change what a character notices. A behaviour and animation system can place it in 3D space and give it a consistent way to react.

Working foundation

Spatial awareness and character-behaviour systems have been implemented in prior work.

Research question

What makes a digital presence feel aware of its surroundings?

03 / SIMULATION

Supply flow simulation

Make decisions across a supply network visible before changing a real process.

Interaction

A multi-agent model connects factories, distributors and wholesalers through upstream and downstream flows. People can change ordering strategies and compare their effects across the network.

Working foundation

An earlier Unity prototype modelled material flows and compared ordering strategies.

Research question

Which choices change the behaviour of the whole flow?

04 / PLANNING

Factory planning scenarios

Give production planning a space where assumptions can be explored.

Interaction

A physics-based 3D model can represent production hardware and its movement. People can explore a sensor-manufacturing scenario and test how process choices affect a plan.

Working foundation

An earlier physics-based Unity prototype tested manufacturing movement and planning scenarios.

Research question

What becomes clear when a plan can be tried before it is applied?
